This Sunday, 11th grade chemistry students of the Polytechnic Lyceum studied the process of obtaining hypochlorites and chlorates - substances that have antiseptic and disinfectant properties (which are the main component of bleach and are used to disinfect water in swimming pools). The laboratory work was carried out at the Department of Electrochemical Production Technology.
Together with Mykhailo Byk, associate professor of the department, and Lyceum chemistry teacher Yulia Miroshnychenko. Everyone was interested in getting the result.
